કેટલીક માહિતી -

ઝંઝારી ધોધ વાત્રક નદી પર છે. આ ધોધ રેપિડ્સની શ્રેણી છે. ખડકો, ખડકો અને ખડકો સાથે વાસ્તવિક ફોલ્ટ 25 ફુટ ઊંચી છે. આ ધોધ ગુજરાત ખેડા જિલ્લાના ઝાજ઼ારી ગામના દેહગામ નજીક આવેલું છે. ઝાંઝારી ધોધને પણ ઝંઝારી ધોધ તરીકે ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. આ ધોધ અમદાવાદથી એક દિવસ દૂર છે.

આ એક બારમાસી ધોધ નથી પરંતુ તે ચોમાસા દરમિયાન સંપૂર્ણ પ્રવાહમાં છે. ચોમાસા પછી પાણી અને તે પછી તરત જ દગાબાજી થાય છે કારણ કે હાલના તબક્કે ધીમું હશે. ઉનાળા દરમિયાન, નદી એક પ્રવાહમાં ઘટાડો થાય છે અને દૃશ્યાવલિ બેસવાની અને આનંદ માટેના સ્થળો છે.

પાર્કિંગ ક્ષેત્રે ભગવાન શિવને સમર્પિત એક પ્રાચીન કેદારશ્વરના મંદિર છે. ચોમાસું દરમિયાન, પાણીની નીચેથી પાણીના અવાજને અવાજથી સાંભળવામાં આવે છે.

ફોલ્સની મુલાકાત લેવા માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ સમય -

ધોધની મુલાકાત લેવાનો શ્રેષ્ઠ સમય સપ્ટેમ્બરથી ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધીનો છે. આ ચોમાસા પછી અને તેજસ્વી તાજગી ત્યાં મળી આવશે. સમર સામાન્ય રીતે હોટ અને ઉષ્ણ હોય છે અને તે સલાહભર્યું નથી. ઉનાળામાં તાપમાન 320 સી અને 45 સી વચ્ચે ગમે ત્યાં હોઈ શકે છે. સામાન્ય રીતે આ ધોધ રજાઓ પર વ્યસ્ત હોય છે. શિયાળો ઠંડો હોય છે અને મુલાકાતીઓએ જેકેટ્સ લેવાની જરૂર પડે છે. જાન્યુઆરીમાં સરેરાશ તાપમાન 20 સી આસપાસ છે.

THOL BIRD SANCTUARY

Today i show you some photographs of THOL BIRD SANCTUARY and some important information of this amazing place...

Location : Thol village near Kalol, Gujarat

Hear is some information of the Birds who come in THOL.

Thol Lake, as a bird sanctuary, an inland wetland and a protected area, is known as a very good habitat for waterfowl during the monsoon season, extending through the winter. According to IBA reports there are 150 species of birds in the sanctuary of which nearly 60% (90 species) are stated to be waterbirds which are mostly wintering birds. The most prominent of these species is the flamingos. At one time 5-6 thousand flamingos were reported here Sarus cranes (Grus antigone), the tallest of the flying birds, nest here in large numbers.

The rich bird life of Thol Wildlife Sanctuary encompasses native as well as migratory birds. Many winter visitors like great white pelicans, flamingos, a variety of waterfowl including mallards and large numbers of geese, sarus cranes and many other waders are common site at sanctuary.

According to the IUCN categorization, the birds reported in the area are: greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus) of least concern species; Dalmatian pelican (Pelecanus crispus), greater spotted eagle (Clanga clanga), sarus crane (Antigone antigone), and Indian skimmer (Rynchops albicollis) of the vulnerable species; and the white-rumped vulture (Gyps bengalensis) and Indian vulture (Gyps indicus) of the critically endangered species.
